We evaluate the bias from endogenous job mobility in fixed-effects estimates of worker- and firm-specific earnings heterogeneity using longitudinally linked employer-employee data from the LEHD infrastructure file system of the U.S. Census Bureau. First, we propose two new residual diagnostic tests of the assumption that mobility is exogenous to unmodeled determinants of earnings. Endogenous money is an economy’s supply of money that is determined endogenously—that is, as a result of the interactions of other economic variables, rather than exogenously (autonomously) by an external authority such as a central bank.. The theoretical basis of this position is that money comes into existence through the requirements of the real economy and that the banking system.

assumption of endogenous bargaining power, the model is also applicable to the situations where bargaining power is exogenous. As opposed to the wage-determination literature, we assume that workers are the first movers. That is, if workers observe an increase in profit level, they initiate a bargaining process to negotiate on a new wage level. Journals & Books; Help Exports versus export-platform FDI with endogenous wage determination The platform-type FDI becomes more likely, ceteris paribus, with higher wage-oriented behavior by the unions, deeper trade liberalization in the host country, and lower fixed costs incurred in the FDI.

Focusing on the endogenous wage determination by two unionized (or unionized and non-unionized) MNFs, we developed a three-stage game theoretical location model that aimed at explaining the decision between the export and export-platform FDI of MNFs. In a static game, there are several possible outcomes as location patterns.

The present book, in a rigorous but non-mathematical presentation, makes clear the endogenous money output links that are consistent with Keynes’s General Theory-led insights.

More specifically, this understanding separates out Keynes’s interest rate determination from that of the determination that underlies RBI’s inflation targeting.
